ACCRA, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Ghana eyes more opportunities from the upcoming China International Import Expo for its cocoa products to tap into the Chinese market.

The cocoa bean, an important ingredient of chocolate products, is the West African country's major cash crop with more than 900,000 tonnes produced last year.

Ghanaian exporters expect that the China International Import Expo will serve as a platform to display their value-added products besides raw beans and bring Chinese consumers closer to their unique Ghanaian cocoa taste.
