KABUL, April 26 (Xinhua) -- An Afghan delegation headed by Mawlawi Sadr Azam Osmani, the deputy minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, left Kabul for Iran on Saturday to attend the seventh International Exhibition of Iran's Export Capabilities titled "Iran Expo 2025" in Tehran, state-run Bakhtar news agency reported.

The deputy minister expressed hope that his trip to the neighboring country and participation in the exhibition could expand trade and economic relations between Kabul and Tehran, and attract more investment to Afghanistan's agricultural sector.

About 3,000 foreign business persons and companies will attend the Iran Expo scheduled to open on April 28 and wrap up on May 2, according to reports. ■
