BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Bruno Zuculini scored twice as Racing secured a 3-1 away win over Banfield in Argentina's Primera Division on Saturday.
The visitors went ahead in the 26th minute when Zuculini side-footed home from point-blank range after Gabriel Rojas' cross from the left.
Zuculini struck again on the hour, heading in from five yards after Nazareno Colombo's powerful shot was parried away by goalkeeper Facundo Sanguinetti.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 78th minute when Lautaro Gomez was shown a straight red card for a studs-up challenge on Duvan Vergara.
Adrian Balboa made it 3-0 by cutting inside and firing low into the near corner following a swift counterattack.
The hosts pulled a late goal back through Bruno Sepulveda, who showed deft control before sending a 20-yard shot into the bottom right corner.
The result leaves Racing 10th in Group A with 15 points, one ahead of 12th-placed Banfield. ■
