    BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) announced here on Monday that Troy Akeem Gillenwater of the United States has been banned for three months after testing positive for Cannabinoids in April.

    "During an In-competition test conducted by the China Anti-Doping Agency (CHINADA) on April 16, 2025 (during the 2024-2025 CBA League season), the urine A Sample of the male basketball player of your club, Troy Akeem Gillenwater tested positive for cannabinoids," said in a notice sent to the Guangdong Southern Tigers club by the CBA on Monday.
