BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Indian film "Secret Superstar," starring Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, continued to lead the Chinese film market in the week ending Feb. 4, earning 143 million yuan (about 22.7 million U.S. dollars), China Film News reported Monday.

The film has grossed 561 million yuan since hitting Chinese screens on Jan. 19.

Second place went to 20th Century Fox's young-adult film "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," which took 90 million yuan at the box office last week. It has sold 240 million yuan in tickets since its release on Jan. 26.

Third place went to domestic romance "Till the End of the World," which took in more than 74 million yuan in its debut week in China.

Another domestic romance "Forever Young," took fourth place, generating about 72 million yuan last week. It has made 680 million yuan since its release on Jan. 12.

Rounding out the top five was 20th Century Fox's "The Greatest Showman," with Hugh Jackman as circus impresario P.T. Barnum. It grossed about 45 million yuan in its first week.
