CHICAGO, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) futures were trading flat on Tuesday morning after choppy sessions for soybeans.

As of 1500 GMT, May corn was unchanged at 3.74 U.S. dollars per bushel while May wheat was down just 0.75 cent at 4.535 dollars and May soybeans also unchanged at 10.255 dollars per bushel.

After senior American officials expressed that they were seeking to reach agreement with China on trade disputes, CBOT traders got relieved, at least for now, following sell-off and price plunge amid fears of possible retaliation from China targeting U.S. soybeans.

China, the European Union and many other countries have criticized the United States for their unilateral protectionist measures, including new tariffs on products from trade partners. Enditem
