SOCHI, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Toni Kroos scored a winner in stoppage time from outside the penalty area to help the 10-man Germany rally past Sweden 2-1 on Saturday to stay alive at the World Cup.

Marco Reus scored in the 48th minute to pull Germany even after Ola Toivonen's goal in the first half put the Swedes in front.

Germany finished with 10-men after defender Jerome Boateng was sent off following a second yellow card with 10 minutes remaining.

Mexico now have six points in Group F after notching up a second consecutive victory with a 2-1 win against South Korea earlier Saturday. Germany and Sweden both have three entering their final matches.

In the last round of the Group F, Germany will take on South Korea who suffered two losses in a row while group leaders Mexico will play against Sweden.
