SKOPJE, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Macedonia will officially begin the accession talks with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) later this month, Macedonian government spokesman Mile Bosnjakovski said at a press conference on Wednesday.

According to Bosnjakovski, Macedonian government adopted on Tuesday the information on Elements of NATO accession negotiations, which will begin on Oct. 18-19 at the Alliance headquarters in Brussels.

The Information on the Establishment of a Working Committee for NATO Integration, which will lead the accession talks, was also adopted, Bosnjakovski said.

"Macedonia is fully prepared for these talks," added Bosnjakovski.

Macedonian official delegation members will be from several ministries and institutions and will be lead by National NATO Coordinator Stevo Pemdarovski, according to the spokesman.

In July, during the NATO summit in Brussels, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced NATO's decision to invite the Macedonian government to start accession talks.

On Aug. 21, the Macedonian government received the guidelines it needs to meet the NATO accession conditions within a period of 18 months. The document included a number of political, economic, security and judicial conditions that should be implemented by April 2020.
