WINDHOEK, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's U12 tennis teams will participate in the International Tennis Federation (ITF)/Confederation for Africa Tennis (CAT)'s Southern African Team Championships from March 18 to 22 slated for Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Two teams for both the girls and boys divisions at the tournament will automatically qualify for the African Junior Team Championships (AJTC's) in September this year, Sanlam Marketing and Communications Manager, Hilaria Graig said Tuesday.

Graig said the Sanlam Junior Tennis Tournament which they hosted on Saturday March 9, which featured an array of tennis players from all over the country was the ideal preparation for the tournament.

According to the Namibian Tennis Association Sanlam through various sponsorships have contributed immensely towards development of tennis in the country.
