SARAJEVO, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) beat Switzerland 80-61 in the second round of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers on Sunday in Sarajevo.

In the first minutes of the first quarter, Jonquel Jones brought a 4-point lead to the BiH, but the visiting team evened the score after one minute. Then the host rebuilt the lead and ended the first quarter with 21-11 lead.

The second quarter witnessed the more defensive play but the host won 27-18 to extend the lead.

The third quarter featured fast play and was won by the visiting team 24-22.

Both teams lost strength and accuracy in the fourth quarter.

Jonquel Jones scored a game high-26 points for the BiH team, while Alexia Rol had 17 points for Switzerland.

BiH is topping Group C with two wins from the first two games, ahead of Russia and Switzerland, and the fourth is Estonia with no wins.
