Wen, Ahern agree to boost Sino-Irish ties

Addressing a dinner hosted by Ahern in Dublin Castle, Wen said Sino-Irish relations have made "substantive progress. China-Ireland relations are part and parcel of the China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership and we see Ireland as a trust-worthy partner in the EU. We appreciate Ireland's position of upholding the one-China policy," Wen said.

China, UK vow to develop strategic partnership: joint statement

China and Britain share common interests in working together on bilateral, multilateral and global issues, the two sides said in a joint statement issued following talks between visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London.
